Entering each of the last three seasons, the expectation for Stone Bridge's girls’ soccer team has been simple and uncompromised: win a state title. The bar was set in 2010, when a freshman corps led by two-time All-Met Player of the Year Murielle Tiernan and the school’s all-time leading scorer, Ashley Herndon, spurred the Bulldogs to their first championship.

Indoor Practice Schedule

Here is the indoor practice schedule for the 2014 season. Please be aware that this schedule is always tentative; if another sport decides to cancel or use an alternate location during its scheduled time slot, girls soccer could move its time slot to take advantage of an earlier practice time. As always, players should be prepared to practice both inside and outside every day (so, bring both cleats, indoor, and running shoes as well as appropriate clothing).

Tryouts

Tryouts will be held February 24-26. We will meet in room 301 at 4:00pm every afternoon ready to go. Paperwork will be checked and then we will board a bus at 4:15pm and leave to go to Evergreen Sportsplex. We will warm-up and then get on the turf fields there from 5-6pm. We will come back to Stone Bridge on the bus. If you do not have your tryout paperwork turned in, you may not board the bus and tryout for that day. Please wear a white shirt everyday to tryouts.
Please bring the following everyday:
- cleats (regular and turf, if you have them)
- shinguards (you cannot play if you are not wearing them)
- indoor shoes
- running shoes
- clothes for indoors and outdoors (hats, gloves, at least two layers of clothing)
