POTOMAC FALLS: 1
The Stone Bridge girls soccer team defeated Potomac Falls with a score of 2-1 on Friday night. All three goals were scored in the first half. The Bulldogs scored first off a free kick taken by sophomore Briana Alston. The Panthers then tied it up by converting a penalty kick. With four minutes remaining in the half, junior Lauren Brower sent the ball through the defenders to freshman Alexandra Addington who shot the ball low for the win. Junior Hailey Corpe had 5 saves on the night.
With the win, the team improves to 10-2-1 on the season and will travel to Freedom on Monday night.
