Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Potomac Falls

The Stone Bridge girls soccer team advance in the Conference Tournament after a 2-1 win over Potomac Falls. After going scoreless in the first half, Potomac Falls scored off a corner kick in the 13th minute of the second half. Four minutes later, sophomore Lindsay Gallagher dribbled the ball down the left side of the field and sent a pass across the goal mouth to senior Nieko Ridley who redirected the ball to tie up the game. Five minutes later, freshman Alexandra Addington sent a through ball pass the Potomac Falls' defenders to freshman Emily Fox. Fox took the ball into the box and shot low, near post for the game winning goal. Junior Hailey Corpe had 5 saves on the night.

With the win, the team improves to 12-2-1 on the season and will play at Broad Run on Friday night in the Conference 14 semi final game.
