The junior varsity boys ended their season with a 1-0 victory over visiting McLean. Gene Yim makes an outstanding save on a penalty kick to preserve the victory and earn the teams eighth shut out of the season. Robert Ruel has his second consecutive game winning goal which was assisted by Angel Cruz.
The coaching staff are very proud of the boys as they finish the season with an overall record of 9-1-3, and are the first team in school history to go undefeated in district play with 5 wins and 2 ties.
On Monday, May 16, the Liberty District Soccer tournament begins. The Varsity Girls Soccer team kicks off at 5 p.m., followed by the Boys Varsity Soccer team at 7 p.m.
