The Stone Bridge boys opened their Liberty District play by hosting South Lakes on Tuesday night but fell to the Sea Hawks by a score of 1-0. South Lakes scored with 11:52 to play in the first half off a throw-in. The Bulldogs never gave in and continued to put pressure on South Lakes creating several scoring opportunities off throw-ins and corner kicks but could not capitalize. Senior Keeper Gene Yim did well in goal and the defense played an excellent game to help hold off the Sea Hawks attack.
With the loss the Bulldogs now stand at 2-4-1 overall and 0-1 in Liberty District play. The team will play again this coming Thursday traveling to Madison.
