Summary: On senior night, Meridith Mesaris hit the go ahead basket with less
than a minute left to give Fairfax a two point lead in this seesaw affair. Cori
Prince was then fouled and made 1 of 2 free throws to cut the lead to 1 at
45-44. Fairfax made two free throws to put them up 3 with 10 seconds left and
when Kayla Sleece's shot from the corner rimmed off and Merideth Mesaris grabbed
the rebound Stone Bridges 11 game win streak was stopped. Mesaris finished with
15 points and Liz McNaughton lead Fairfax with 19 points. Murielle Tiernan lead
Stone Bridge with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Kayleigh Guzek chipped in 10 and
Cori Prince added 8. The two team are now tied atop the Liberty District.
