On September 8, 2016, the Stone Bridge Bulldog Golfers played a very good Briar Woods High School golf team at Westpark Golf Course, in Leesburg, VA. Stone Bridge beat Briar woods by a score of 155 to 163 over the 9 hole match on the par 35 back nine of Westpark. Scoring for Stone Bridge, were: Cam Bender, low medalist who shot a 37; Abby Bloom who shot a 38 and Connor Steggerda who also shot a 38. Max Bender shot a 42. Also playing for Stone Bridge, Matt Kapusta shot 44 and Justin Lisciandro shot 42. The scores were impressive given we played at a neutral course. Every one of our players had very good rounds. We need to take all the positives away from posting a 155 on a course that was mostly unfamiliar to our players. The Bulldogs should be proud of the 155 score and for their excellent sportsmanship demonstrated today! Keep improving Bulldgogs! We are undefeated in matches and have a season record of eight wins and zero losses!
