Stone Bridge placed 4th in our first Conference Mini Tournament held at 1757 Golf Course in Sterling, VA.

Today our team members played well at our first Conference Mini Tournament to help determine the regular season Potomac District Champion.   Everyone continued to show improvement.    We accomplished our score of 325 as follows:   Abby Bloom, 80;  Paul Thoppil, 78;  Cam Bender, 80;  Matt Kapusta, 87.    Connor Steggerda shot a 91 and Anjali Kumar shot 107.  Abby continues to show great consistency in her play.   Paul continues to perform and his 78 was impressive.   Cam shot a good 80 after having a rough start on the front nine.  Matt, who also had a rough start came back and hit many fairways and greens on the back nine.   We are still very early in the season since it is just one week since tryouts ended and everyone will continue to improve.   We had four birdies and one eagle today.  Our birdie count is now up to 12 in three tournaments (I am counting the eagle as two birdies).
